UALR Nursing Program Applicant 2016

Just applied for the Summer 2016 AAS-RN program. Long wait until March to find out whether I am have been accepted or not. Thought I would get a thread started for this years applicants!

Awesome! When I talked to the guy up there he told me they usually make it through the entire wait list! I really hope he was being honest!

He didn't come out and say we would be accepted, He said if you get wait listed don't freak out because we usually make it through the entire wait list.

Hearing that makes me even more excited... I sure hope so..I cant wait to get started and meet all of you all in person! I know from being in a previous program that supporting each other in this journey makes it soooo much better! I cant wait, Ive already gotten my immunizations, Bls certification, and a few supplies. Lets keep the momentum going everyone, we will all make it in there:yes:

I still got to get my shots. And my wisdom teeth cut out before the ball gets rolling.

We don't have to purchase our equipment though the school from that mail they sent do we?

No we don't have to purchase it from the SNA, it's optional but they order in bulk so you get a bigger discount

Cool I found a package deal that comes with all the required stuff and some of the extras for 60 online.

Honestly, I wouldn't order it until we go to orientation on Saturday. They may have certain stipulations for the equipment. If you can afford it, I would buy a litman stethoscope. Kind of expensive but they are amazing and worth every penny. I have one and it is really good.

Weren't all the shots required to even attend school? Other then hep. B.
