UALR Nursing Program Applicant 2016

Just applied for the Summer 2016 AAS-RN program. Long wait until March to find out whether I am have been accepted or not. Thought I would get a thread started for this years applicants!

I hope yAll find out something soon. I'm thinking about taking the act at baptist this weekend for my back up plan incase going to ualr falls through come June. Better be safe then sorry. :)

I called the Nursing dept number that was listed on line, I dont remember the person name that I spoke with specifically. She just asked was I previously in a Nursing program before.....I told her yes then gave her my Name she looked it up and said yes, everyone in your category will be reviewed and have a response in 30 days.....Im unsure of their methods in rating or how they magically select people All I know is I still havent heard anything else as of yet. So I'm staying hopeful.

Hello everyone...I just go and email from uarl ...and they put me on waiting list...and they will let me know by the end on june...if I get in or not...I think it's good.....I just have to wait....I'll write again by the end of June if I got in or not.

I got the same email! Guess we shall see what happens! I've already enrolled in some prereqs for my BSN for fall semester just in case that email doesn't come! Good luck!

I have been wait listed! I had to read the email a few times, my nerves were getting the best of me! Well, now the wait is on till June!

? Im a little sad , that all conversations ended? Nobody heard of anything.....Come on people, we have to do something besides twiddle our thumbs until the end of June!! I purchased a stethoscope in hopes of me getting accepted.... does anyone have any info on how the schedule goes once accepted? meaning class times/ clinical schedule

Hopefully early on so we all have time to get stuff together if we get accepted for July. Do you happen to know when in July it starts?

I heard it would start the first week in July. You go like Monday Thursday two hour classes. Then clinic is 12 hour shift but you can choose to do two 6 hour clinics
