Nursing Students SRNA
Published Apr 7, 2020
Anyone applying to UAB? I have pretty much finished my application, just waiting for two recommendations. I doubt I will have my CCRN before the deadline with testing centers closed. Looking forward to hearing from y'all!

I would definitely reach out to them and ask “what else could I do?” Because that all sounds great to me.

I received the same email indicating still being considered? Question: for Science GPA did you calculate all science or the below science prerequisites listed under admission requirements? I think I only have one other science to add but just curious what they actually are looking at .. if anyone knows?Prerequisite CoursesCredit

I thought so, but maybe they didn’t like something in my essay? All I could think of. I guess I will have to wait until after August 1st, they specifically asked us not to contact the School of Nursing until the interviews are over.

In the past few years they have been both. Typically they have a paper test where you answer more clinical based scenarios and questions, then the interview is more personal with clinical scenarios as well. So I have been told by previous students and interviewees anyways.

Really wasn’t bad. Don’t stress too much. Everyone I met was super nice.

that's good to know! glad it wasn't bad for you. I'm assuming it was mainly personal questions

Has anyone else who got an interview not received the zoom link for the interview? Mine is supposed to be first thing Monday morning and I'm pretty sure I was supposed to receive the link by now, but I haven't and I'm getting nervous something is wrong ??
I confirmed my interview date and time, made a zoom account, and tried to contact both people listed on uab's website but I haven't heard back from them. Any suggestions for what to do?

Same here. I emailed the school of nursing and haven’t heard anything back.
I had my interview 7/14 and they sent me my link on 7/10
