UAB 2021

Anyone applying to UAB? I have pretty much finished my application, just waiting for two recommendations. I doubt I will have my CCRN before the deadline with testing centers closed. Looking forward to hearing from y'all!

Got my interview email yesterday around 18:00 for July 14th. Good luck to everyone that received emails; for those that did not, keep your heads up. There are still plenty of programs and plenty of time.

Anyone that got an interview from Macon, GA perhaps?

I don’t speak for the school, just speaking from my experience. It’s a great program and was a blessing. Just came here to encourage like people did here when I applied.

Is this a denial email? I think so but other people (friends I know in the program) say it’s not.

No, last year they sent actual denial emails. That was the point I was trying to make. Good luck!

It just has me anxious. My thought process is that wouldn’t they select 75-100 people to interview and narrow it down to 50 (or whatever the cohort size for that class would be)? Rather than only interviewing a few at a time. I just want to know what exactly does that ^ email mean. Because there are some scheduled to interview around July 12-14 and some to interview around July 26.

I hope I still have a shot! Trying to stay positive. Thanks for the reply!

The “thorough review of all applicants” part to me means that they are already interviewing everyone that they are interested in. That’s why I am taking that as a denial email personally.

I got this same email. I am disappointed that they didn't even want to interview me. I thought I had a pretty strong application.
