UAB Summer 2014

I've been lurking here, looking to see if anyone would be starting a thread on the UAB MSN cohort for Summer 2014. Nobody has yet, so I'm doing it!

Application deadline is October 28th! Is anyone else applying to start next summer? I've applied to the WHNP program, and have gnawed my fingernails down to nubs over it.

Okay, orientation is Feb 6 & 7, or March 10 & 11, according to that email.

Mine is Adult Acute/ Gero. My second choice was NPFA. I'm so nervous! I hope I'm not getting all excited and worked up for nothing! Hehe!

Is anyone who has applied for summer already a student, or already has a BlazerNET account? It'd be helpful if they could check their profile to see if there's anything listed for advisor/specialty of study.

So you all went to blazernet and created a blazernet id? If so did you all just use an id related to your name or some random combination of letters and numbers?

I went into the ID help area, clicked on "Do I have an ID?", input my SSN (with dashes) and DOB, and it said I was in the system and needed to register an ID. So I made one up and registered.

I did the same. Use social with dashes and birthday without ex. 01261978

So, does somebody want to jump on the grenade and email/call their specialty's advisor or CB in admissions and see if they were admitted for sure? :D

Will it let any of you log back onto Blazernet? It says it can't determine if my ID or password is authentic. I tried changing my password in case I misspelled something on my first one. It still won't let me.

Yes, I did a chat with an IT person, and they told me I won't be able to log into BlazerNET until tomorrow, that it takes 24 hours to set up the account.
