UAB MSN FALL 2018

I've seen previous posts about the process of waiting for acceptance or denial letters for the UAB MSN nurse practitioner program! Figured I'd start one for the Fall 2018 semester. I believe we are supposed to find out 6 weeks from yesterday! Anybody know if this is true?

Someone I know applied and was NOT able to create a banner ID. So I am wondering if it is truly relevant and a good sign?! I really hope so! I feel like the wait has been an eternity. Please update as soon as anyone knows! Do we have a FB page started yet?! I will be glad to start one if anyone is interested!

You guys are making me even more nervous lol. Speaking from being rejected last semester Decisions have not been made because the dashboard still says 100% completed. When decisions are made there are two ways to find out if you were accepted before the letter is mailed. The dashboard will then show a yellow envelope stating your decision has been made. If you were accepted there will be a place for you to click to accept the offer. If you were rejected it says "your official decision has been mailed". The other way to know for sure is to click 'register blazer-id' if it lets you register then you've been accepted. I was able to create a blazerid and pin but was not able to register that blazer-id yet so I don't think creating it means anything.

When I emailed someone at the school, they said that decisions of acceptance would no longer be shown on the dashboard only via mail. The only thing that will be shown on the dashboard is a decision has been made but it will no longer allow you to click it to say accepted or denied as in previous years.

Lol I'm sorry guys. I don't know if creating an ID means anything or not. I hope it does! But @blancas56 just application cycle for summer 2018 start they were able to click and accept the offer. They were also able to register and then see their offer and accept that way as well. Maybe for fall they're making all these changes and that's the reason it's taking so long. We found out last cycle exactly 6wks on the dot so it has me extremely nervous that they keep pushing the date back

Sooo I just tried to register using my Blazer ID and DOB... it didn't work. It said ' error ID/DOB COMBINATION NOT found in our records..."

Someone else try with a Blazer ID and let us know what happens.

Mine has said the same thing but I do have a student id B#.

Has anybody heard anything back yet from UAB regarding their acceptance or denial yet?

I haven't heard anything yet, and I'm still unable to create a BlazerID. Truly, I am anticipating being rejected again. I recently started a new position as ANM in our ED, and am thinking leadership may be a better path for me to pursue anyway.

Did you try the "obtain your student/alumni number" link they posted?

I know I have a B#, it was listed at the bottom of my rejection letter from summer haha.

Hmmmm I'm gonna look at my letter when I get home to see if it's the same number I was able to create
