UAB Fall 2013 NP Programs

I have applied to UAB's ACNP program for Fall 2013. Just wanted to start a "roll call", if you will, for all those applying to any of UAB's NP programs for fall 2013 so that we can kind of keep each other posted on the progress of accepectances and etc. Good luck to everyone who has applied! I look forward to hearing from each of you!!

Bgamble, I never tried. I was sure, since I never got an email, that I was going to have to apply again. I was already resigneded to the fact that maybe my application wasn't considered or something. I used my social.

BrianKGate, from what I understand is that the adult primary and acute care both have a geriatric emphasis and thus added to the title.

Cool. I had heard that they had pretty much merged the programs but just making sure. I appreciate the info.

Anyone who applied to the pediatric program heard anything? I haven't gotten an email not was I able to login to blazernet... Anxiously waiting and hoping!!

Hey Everyone! I received my welcome packet for the Adult NP program - it is emphasized that it is for primary care so I am not sure if they have merged both primary and acute care.. Congratulations to everyone, cant wait to get started!!

RNAchot83, the adult primary care is your track. Primary and Acute care are still two different programs.

I got into the PMHNP program!!! Yayyy! I'm so excited! I think I'm the only one that applied to this program on here. Who is going to the orientation in July?

I got into to PMHNP program too!! Reading these, I was beginning to think I was the only one from here that applied too. I'm not entirely sure if I'm going in June or July. Would sure like to meet someone from my program though :).
