OK cool. I was confused. First semester I take advanced Patho and another class (forgot the name) about advanced practice nursing or leadership.... I think. I'm an hour away from my packet. If I remember correctly, everyone takes the same first few classes. :)

I really hope that everyone who has not yet heard gets good news! In my packet, it has the curriculum laid out for 6 semesters? Does anyone else's have 6? I thought full time was 4 semesters. I'm confused. I don't have my packet with me, but they never mentioned anything about part time.

Bgamble, I never tried. I was sure, since I never got an email, that I was going to have to apply again. I was already resigneded to the fact that maybe my application wasn't considered or something. I used my social.

Congrats everyone! I actually live in Birmingham, so it's going to be very convenient! I was able to log onto BlazerNet, Rizz. It has my concentration as Family Nurse Practitioner and my advisor's name, 4 holds on the account, etc. Still nothing on the application site or email yet. My opinion is that if they went through the effort of entering someone's information into the BlazerNet system, they are probably accepted. I don't think they would do it otherwise. I also don't think it's necessarily a bad sign if you can't log on, because they have a reputation of being a little slow at times. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up. But, I do hope everyone gets in. I'm sure you all deserve it and have worked really hard for this.

I woke up this morning and my husband said I had a packet from UAB. I ran into the living room, wondering if it could be so. It was my acceptance packet to the family nurse practitioner program. Nothing ever changed on my online application. It still says "submitted" and I never got an email even telling me my GRE was waived. I certainly don't see an online decision letter. I haven't gotten an email from them since the one asking about statistics courses. I really thought they hadn't considered my application. But, about to mail off my acceptance of their offer! Congrats to anyone who is in and to everyone else, don't give up!
