I have applied to UAB's ACNP program for Fall 2013. Just wanted to start a "roll call", if you will, for all those applying to any of UAB's NP programs for fall 2013 so that we can kind of keep each other posted on the progress of accepectances and etc. Good luck to everyone who has applied! I look forward to hearing from each of you!!
Adv Patho is really not that bad at UAB, I know a few a people in my class struggling but for the most part everyone either ends up getting an A or a high B. Just do the reading and highlight/tab the crap out of your book that is what helped me. The case studies are alittle tougher, no real advice on them, just try your best.

I woke up this morning and my husband said I had a packet from UAB. I ran into the living room, wondering if it could be so. It was my acceptance packet to the family nurse practitioner program. Nothing ever changed on my online application. It still says "submitted" and I never got an email even telling me my GRE was waived. I certainly don't see an online decision letter. I haven't gotten an email from them since the one asking about statistics courses. I really thought they hadn't considered my application. But, about to mail off my acceptance of their offer! Congrats to anyone who is in and to everyone else, don't give up!

How was adv patho? I would be lying if I said I wasn't extremely nervous about that class. Any advice or tips?
