Hey everyone! I have found this site useful in the past and thought I would finally post on here. I have applied for UABs AMNP program for January. If accepted, I will be an out-of-state student, and it's going to be kind of expensive so I want all information I can get. If anyone is in this program or has spoken to someone in the program I'd like to hear some feedback. Also, I have heard mixed things about job outlook. Anyone have thought or experience with that? Any comments will be helpful! I also applied to the 2nd Degree BSN as a back up if I change my mind or am not accepted to the AMNP program.

Congrats to everyone!!!

So I hate to sound like a total moron, but I have a question. I signed my acceptance at the end of my interview on Thursday (woohoo!) but I did not get an email this afternoon. Was there any kind of important information in it or was it just telling you your admission status? I'm just trying to figure out if I need to contact the school if I'm missing some info. Thanks in advance!!

I tried to find you on facebook with your email and no results came up but one result is found when I leave off the gmail part but I am not sure if its you and I don't want to send a friend request to the wrong person lol.

Hmm that's weird... I'm working so I'm actually trying to do all of this on my phone haha. I'll check my settings again, but that's my email address and my name is Laura Jensen. If it shows my pic I have brown hair, and one of those glow in the dark headbands on. If that's not it, maybe send me your name or email and I'll look for you. You can email it to me if you don't want to put it on here.

Congrats to you too! Mine had information about when I needed to register for classes and that if I had any course work left unfinished it would have to be completed before the start of class. It has the dates of the mandatory orientations. There's quite a bit of information on there so I would contact them if I were you to make sure you get those dates and times and all of the information. It also had the acceptance form attached that would need to be sent in by Nov 8th but since you already signed yours you probably won't need to worry about that but I would definitely notify them to make sure you have all the information. They did say the formal acceptance and documents are in the mail and we should receive them soon
