UAB AMNP Spring 2014

Hey everyone! I have found this site useful in the past and thought I would finally post on here. I have applied for UABs AMNP program for January. If accepted, I will be an out-of-state student, and it's going to be kind of expensive so I want all information I can get. If anyone is in this program or has spoken to someone in the program I'd like to hear some feedback. Also, I have heard mixed things about job outlook. Anyone have thought or experience with that? Any comments will be helpful! I also applied to the 2nd Degree BSN as a back up if I change my mind or am not accepted to the AMNP program.

I just finished my interview! It definitely feels good to have it over with. It was relaxed and no tricky questions. I do have some good news I'm sure y'all will be glad to hear. I was told we will find out their final decision on MONDAY!!! Best of luck the rest of the week.

How long was the interview? Did you interview with more than one person?

Had my interview this morning and everyone was soooooo nice! I know it has been said before but really just be yourself and you will do just fine. They are not out to get us :nailbiting: lol! I interviewed with 2 people.

I had mine yesterday, and we will all know Monday via e-mail of their decision! I agree that everyone was super nice, informative, and helpful. I really loved how they had students in the current cohort there to answer any and all questions. Everyone had great things to say about the program. Good luck to tomorrow's batch of interviewees.
