UAB AMNP Spring 2014

Hey everyone! I have found this site useful in the past and thought I would finally post on here. I have applied for UABs AMNP program for January. If accepted, I will be an out-of-state student, and it's going to be kind of expensive so I want all information I can get. If anyone is in this program or has spoken to someone in the program I'd like to hear some feedback. Also, I have heard mixed things about job outlook. Anyone have thought or experience with that? Any comments will be helpful! I also applied to the 2nd Degree BSN as a back up if I change my mind or am not accepted to the AMNP program.

Hello, everybody! I'm Reagin, and I just found this forum. I was admitted this year, and I want to join the facebook page and introduce myself! I'm local, live in Homewood, so if anybody would like to get together between Christmas and school starting, I'd love to have a get-together!

Has anybody had any luck getting questions answered by the program faculty? I am wanting to pull my hair out emailing a certain someone with the initials of J.L. I never get straight answers, she only answers part of my email, responses are never longer than a few sentences. Is this indicative of the type of communication and frustration I'll have while in the actual program? Geez!

Hi I am applying to UaB for the Amnp 2015 as an out of state student any tips on receiving grad loans and affordable cost of living expenses. I really hate to find out after I'm accepted if I am that I still can't attend because of the expense. Thanks for your time.
