UA MEPN 2016

Published

Hello! Just wanted to see if anyone else is applying to the University of Arizona MEPN program for summer 2016. I just applied a week or so ago and it's going to be a long wait!

Just got an acceptance email for the Tucson campus! Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Waitlisted for phoenix campus! Hoping to be joining you all!

It says my acceptance to Tucson is conditional based on the fingerprint clearance and admission to the grad school. Is this normal?

Yes, that is normal. The Grad College waits for specific programs to select their candidates and then sends out acceptance from the Grad College. The way it was explained to me was they nearly never reject someone if the specific program accepts the person. You're in :)

I suppose if something came back on your fingerprints they might rescind the acceptance, but I'm assuming things are clear there.

Still haven't heard back! I wonder if they sent them in a batch e-mail?

I've been offered provisional admissions to UA MEPN Phoenix campus! Full admissions is contingent on FCC and other documents. I guess I just have wait for the paperwork in the mail.

Congrats to everyone who got in!

Waitlisted. Congrats to everyone who has been accepted! :)

I am an "alternate', just curious if those wait listed had that term used! Congrats to those in and good luck to the wait listers.

I got in! What about everyone else?

I was really surprised because I didn't feel great about my interview, but I guess it was a little better than I thought.

Yes, they're calling it an "alternate list" rather than a "waitlist." Good luck!

I've been selected for provisional admission at the Phoenix Campus. Does anyone know what this means?
