Hey everyone so I was moved to Arizona forum. Who is all applying for Summer '15 MEPN?
Congrats on your interview! A couple things to keep in mind:
1. They should have given you a list of possible topics/ questions, so make sure that you go over those and have specific examples to answer them, just like a job interview when they ask about strengths and weaknesses.
2. They'll usually ask if you have any closing comments/questions at the end, so make sure you have something to say.
3. Don't be scared! Most of the interviewers are really nice and make you feel comfortable. I was smiling and laughing at by the end of mine. You'll do great!
Maybe this is what they used to send out?? This is dated 2014, so probably from last year as they were on a much earlier timeline last year and did interviews before Christmas I believe. Anyways, a good place to start regardless. Good luck on your interview! Mine is on Saturday morning.
I just got admitted to Phoenix. It's disappointing as I was hoping to get into Tucson. As I have other options, I'm deciding whether or not to accept the admission offer I have so many questions. I'm hoping the any of the current students can share their experience. Is there any difference between the two locations in terms of quality of clinical experience, teachers, cost of living, driving....? Are you satisfied with the program? Is there a lot of writing. How demanding is the program. Are the teachers committed to student learning? Is there anything else that the entering students should know. Thanks so much for sharing any information about the program.
I live in California and plan on visiting the campus next week. Would anyone be willing to meet with me to share their experience with the program? If you have time, I'd love to treat you to lunch/dinner.
Also, is there a regularly scheduled time/location (class or clinical) where I would be able to meet with the current students?
