Tyler Junior College Hybrid 2020-2021

TJC Hybrid LVN to RN starting in 2021. Has anyone else submitted their application? Anyone know how many they take and what scores usually get accepted?

LOL right but if we don’t get in, we can always apply in Jan/February Of next year

I didn’t ask how many people applied. The lady who answered the phone sounded like she was busy haha so I didn’t wanna bother. I can call and ask tho and see if they know that answer. Will keep y’all updated.

Hey, I also am applying to the ADN RN and I have 33.8 points and my friend has 32.4. I am assuming that it goes by the old point system and not the newest one posted right?

I didn't apply for traditional. I hope you can find someone to talk to on here. I think it makes you feel better having someone to bounce ideas off of.

Hey there!

I applied for the Traditional RN and the LVN program. I was rejected from RN during the summary phase bc I withdrew from 2 courses in my previous BSN program. However, they did go on to say that I atleast qualify for the LVN! I have 35.15 pts .

So you have 35.15 points for the LVN application? I know that ADN & LVN have different point systems. I also applied for LVN and I have 41 points for my LVN app, but only 33 points for my ADN. I am praying that I get into the ADN program though. I did pretty bad on my TEAS and I made a 70 ?

Oh, wait sorry I have 44 points for my LVN app, but still 33 points for my ADN app. It just sucks that we don't get to do the interviews for more potential points.
