Tyler Junior College Hybrid 2020-2021

TJC Hybrid LVN to RN starting in 2021. Has anyone else submitted their application? Anyone know how many they take and what scores usually get accepted?

Me very much. And also not, because I just gave up because they took off what was giving me hope. I cant believe they don't use test, interviews . So we leave it to God.

They are using the TEAS test for our applications.

I am going to start checking my email at 12am LOL, even though I doubt that the emails will be sent out until office hours. So much anxiety! Let's all keep each other updated ?

I probably won’t get in I had a crappy TEAS,haven’t had micro done but I have all As in the rest of the classes. I got a few points from working in healthcare.but if there going of the TEAS LOL I’m applying next semster!!

Did they use work experience to give points.

Yes they did but your employer had to fill out paper work that you worked for 1 year or 6 months.

Don't get too down on yourself about your points/ TEAS bc of comparing it with the LVN points. They are weighed differently. Having 29+ points is seen as competitive for the traditional RN program. Any TEAS score over 60 is also competitive.

I wonder which group will get an email the fastest? The "Accepted or Unaccepted"?

Traditional RN they do TEAS, we did fundamental for nursing. Thats why points will weigh diffrent. I only submitted letter from my manager about employemt. Been full time at same place since Nov 2017 when I became lvn

Everyone is so excited about the email and I’m just here super nervous about my first micro exam that I didn’t even sleep!! ? good luck beautiful awesome future nurses! God is good and for those of us who don’t get in there is always next time so don’t be so down!! ?
