Hello all, I noticed there wasn’t a topic yet for the Spring 2023 applicants for Texas Women’s University. Wanted to see how everyone is doing and how you all feel! Personally I am applying for the Houston campus but don’t feel great about my admissions score. My TEAS was an 84 and overall GPA is 3.6 and science 3.4 ? I also plan to apply to UTMB.
As a reminder:

Good luck with your Nursing program.

Hello! I am a Fall 2023 Dallas campus applicant. I have a 3.57 cumulative GPA, 3.8 science goa and a 90 on the TEAS. Some work experience in animal ERs as a vet tech and currently work as a diet clerk at medical city. Any thoughts on how competitive I maybe? My real concern is my statistics grade I made a C in that class. Thoughts?

No way of really knowing because it depends on everyone else's stats applying this cycle as well. For perspective, I am applying with a 3.84 science GPA (dang B in Micro LOL) and an 89.3 on the TEAS. And overall GPA 3.75. I feel OK! I have had friends and co workers in the last 2 application periods be accepted with a 3.4 science GPA and an 85 on the TEAS. I know before the pandemic, a transfer ideally needed at least a 3.8 science GPA and as close to a 90 on the TEAS to even be considered. (Which you already have!!) It seems to not be as competitive now based off some of the people I know that have got in in the last year so I hope it stays that way LOL. Good luck!!
