TWU Spring 2023

Hi! Same I don’t feel really confident due to my GPA & not having any experience. My TEAS score is a 88.7 % , overall GPA 3.5 and a 3.4 for science. I’m applying to the dallas TWU which I heard is really competitive 

Hi hi! I am also applying for Spring 2023! Will be taking my TEAS in a few weeks, which is closer to the deadline than I wanted but we'll make it work! Have you all submitted your application for regular university acceptance yet? How long did that process take? I have an in-progress prereq that doesn't finish until mid July. I was hoping my transcript from my first degree would be enough for general university acceptance but apparently not haha.

Definitely not feeling super confident, but I think everyone feels that way to some extent. Also applying to UT, UTMB, UofH, and maybe some others. The whole process is a lot.

I am planning on fall 2023 TWU in Dallas. Studying for TEAS currently. Does anyone have a calculation sheet to get GPA average?

My GPA was calculated in NursingCAS when my transcripts were verified. I could see all averages on the downloaded version of my application after I submitted. 

Also, is it just me or is this board extremely quiet for Spring 2023 compared to previous years. Especially with the application deadline next week! Wonder if there are fewer applicants this cycle

It seems there is a decline in fewer applicants in many nursing programs in general. I know the UTA accelerated online is pretty popular, so maybe those that do wanna pursue nursing, rather do online versions or just not wanting to pursue nursing.  Just my guess! Hopefully works to some people’s advantage to possibly have fewer applicants

Maybe so! Fewer applicants would definitely increase the chance of being accepted. I’ll take it! Does seem quiet on other schools threads too.

EDIT: never mind about confirmation emails. Just saw that they send out eligibility emails after the deadline to let you know.

hi guys, are any of you guys having trouble logging into nursing cas? I have been trying to submit my application since last night... getting a little stressed because they arent even picking up their phone. anything helps! ?

Hey. I am a Houston applicant seeking to get in for the dallas campus. IDK I'm just want to move out to another city. But it said on the application,"Houston applicants are not eligible to be considered for the Dallas campus. So I don't even have a chance to even apply for the dallas center:(

if you have the excel sheet, it will do it for you.

I found this excel sheet from the past group. I don’t know if it’s the same one.
