Yes, I got the eligibility email September 1 I believe. Based on the ridiculous amount of reading I’ve done on prior years’ threads and their decision dates, my best guess is that we will start hearing next week? Seems like October 20th-30th is the average. I would be overjoyed to hear something sooner though! Has anyone been keeping in contact with an admissions advisor? All this waiting has me second guessing whether I did enough in terms of getting in touch with the admissions office personally haha

Maybe so! Fewer applicants would definitely increase the chance of being accepted. I’ll take it! Does seem quiet on other schools threads too. EDIT: never mind about confirmation emails. Just saw that they send out eligibility emails after the deadline to let you know.

Also, is it just me or is this board extremely quiet for Spring 2023 compared to previous years. Especially with the application deadline next week! Wonder if there are fewer applicants this cycle

My GPA was calculated in NursingCAS when my transcripts were verified. I could see all averages on the downloaded version of my application after I submitted.

Hello, I am applying too! And yes, the transcript processing has been slow, but overall so much easier than my NursingCAS applications. Where else is everyone applying to? UTH is definitely my top choice.

Hi hi! I am also applying for Spring 2023! Will be taking my TEAS in a few weeks, which is closer to the deadline than I wanted but we'll make it work! Have you all submitted your application for regular university acceptance yet? How long did that process take? I have an in-progress prereq that doesn't finish until mid July. I was hoping my transcript from my first degree would be enough for general university acceptance but apparently not haha. Definitely not feeling super confident, but I think everyone feels that way to some extent. Also applying to UT, UTMB, UofH, and maybe some others. The whole process is a lot.

Hi everyone, Currently in the process of applying to nursing schools in Texas, and was wondering if anyone could share their thoughts on Baylor’s Distance ABSN program. My biggest concern is if there is any peer support within your cohort or actual community with fellow students? Both for the coursework as well as clinicals. Do students in the same general area go through clinicals together? Are there study groups? Just seems important to have for such an intensive program. Would love some insight if anyone knows anything! Definitely want to know as much as possible before spending an arm and a leg for the program ?

Does anyone know how to submit CLEP scores for a required pre-req? I took the human growth and development CLEP exam a few years ago, which satisfies a Psyc credit I needed for my first degree, but I’m concerned that how it’s reflected on the transcript won’t match with UTs requirements. Does that make sense? Like do I need to resubmit the CLEP scores directly so that it satisfies the Human growth and development course that UT requires?

What other programs/schools is everyone applying to? The stats for UTH always make me nervous.
