TWU Spring 2018

Hi!

I haven't seen a thread made for the TWU Spring 2018 application process, so decided to start one! I'm the type to worry, and I know I'm not alone, so what better place to vent than here? For anyone wondering, the application date for Spring 2018 is August 15th, 2017!

My GPA comes out to a 3.720 with TWU preference. I haven't taken my TEAs yet, but plan to soon.

Hello again everybody! I am wondering where we will be notified of acceptance/denial? Through email, nursingCAS, etc? My nursingcas account is doing something so weird....Before everything changed, i could see my verifered and completed application but now nothing is there and when i log in it says on the front screen "Select the program to which you want to apply." Thanks for the help in advance!

It will be through the email you used for NursingCas. Our application period is over so it's normal that you can't see your application anymore.

I saw earlier in this thread that someone posted an email they received from TWU admissions saying that acceptance letters will be sent out September. I just received the same email, but mine said they plan on sending out acceptance letters in October. Thought I'd let y'all know! IMG_1114.PNG

I was wondering if that date would change. I received the "mid-September" email in mid-July, before all of the budget cuts (I think) and before this whole mess in Houston. Thanks for the update!!

Also what is the first letter of your last name? I'm going to cross my fingers and hope that's why there is a delay for me since mine is pretty late in the alphabet

I haven't gotten an email yet either..... This is making me nervous, like I somehow messed up the application process.

My last name starts with an A! I applied about 3-4 weeks before the deadline... can't remember exact date but I cut it kind of close. I'm so nervous and anxious for sept/oct!! Btw I forgot to mention that I applied to the Houston campus

I got the email yesterday and my last name is A it said,

Dear Vivian,

This email is to inform you that your application to the TWU upper-division nursing program for Spring 2018 admission has been processed. All admission requirements have been confirmed and you are eligible for admission consideration.

We will not be able to determine the status of your admission (accepted, waitlisted, rejected) until all remaining applications are processed. We hope to be able to start sending acceptances by early October.

fingers crossed i applied to Houston location

Hi everyone! My friend and I both submitted our applications at the same time (within seconds apart), but he received that same emailed this morning whereas I didn't. I'm also nervous about it because like I said, we submitted our application SECONDS apart, but his last name starts with an "A" and mine starts with a "D". I'm assuming it's going in that order based on the previous comments? Reading them took some stress off of me because I really thought I did something wrong. I hope this comment helps some of you as well! (we submitted our application around a week before the August 15 deadline btw)

yea like i said. My last name starts with an A. so hang in there. They are probably going in alphabetical order. hope you hear something quick.
