Hello everyone! I tried to search for a thread for TWU Houston Spring 2016 applicants but I couldn't find it so I decided to make one. I have read multiple threads from the past TWU applicants and I cant seem to figure out where I stand because some got accepted with low GPA but high TEAS score while others high GPA but low TEAS score. A little bit confused on how TWU determine their candidates.
Is anyone else applying to TWU this Spring? If so what's your stats?
My stats:
GPA: 4.0
TEAS: 76
No previous degree
4 TWU preference ( not sure if this gonna help or not anymore)
And good luck to everyone who is applying!
Thanks!Alright, I appreciate the help. I'll probably give them a call soon.
I think as long as you've started your series, you're good to go. From my understanding, you get all the vaccination information & CPR and all that stuff once you're in and they give you a deadline to complete them by.
If you call them and find anything out please let us know! ☺ï¸
Is anyone planning to go to their Open House this Saturday? I'm going, and would love to meet some of you, if you are planning on attending!
I received my confirmation email today, but called and told them not to expect me. I ended up having to work this weekend if you find out any interesting details, feel free to pass them ago

Yes, I got mine today as well! I'm sorry you can't make it hope others on this thread can make it out!
I tried to get into contact with them about it and the only answer they gave me was" If you get accepted into nursing for spring, there will be an orientation and at that time this question and many more will be answered. "
So I assume that I will be fine.
Or at least I hope
Ouch! That was super vague. In that case, I wouldn't worry about until that time.

Hi Houstongirl2,
Welcome to the board!! Your stats are awesome-pretty sure you're going to get in with that GPA and TEAS. UTHealth is very competitive, but I still wish you the best. I'm honestly not sure how the HEP B series works. You should probably call and check with the school to get a more definitive answer.
