TWU Spring 2020 Hopefuls?

Hey! I'm applying to TWU for Spring of 2020. It's super early, but apps are due this Summer. Anyone else applying? I'm super nervous and I'd love to hear what everyone is doing to prepare for the TEAS! Also if anyone knows how many points are considered competitive let me know!

Well, at least you got confirmation from TWU! I'm still waiting for confirmation of eligibility and it is so nerve-racking. I don't have anything under my "to do" list and have confirmation they received my app and everything. Just no confirmation of eligibility or non-eligibility. I'm hesitant to email them again because I don't want to be annoying if they are still working through the applications.

I haven't gotten confirmation from TWU yet either, but I reached out to the advisor on the Houston campus and she assured me that they have my NursingCAS application, it just takes time for them to get through all of the applications and send confirmation emails ?

F I N A L L Y got confirmation just a little bit ago that TWU received all of my materials and I am eligible for consideration for the nursing program! AHH it's getting real! Hopefully only 31 more days but who's counting ?

Go girl that is exciting! They are still going through all of the applications. They began sending out preleminary acceptances for Wharton Sugarland and I still have not received anything, so my anxiety has been of the charts!!!

Congrats! Still waiting on my confirmation. Whats your last name if you dont mind me asking. Just wanted to know how far they've gotten.

@mirajira @Ebenitez @thomasss don't fret if you haven't gotten your confirmation yet! An advisor at the Houston campus told me today they are still going through them! My last name starts with R but she said each person gets a stack of apps to go through, but didn't say if someone gets all the R's or S's so I'm not sure if its alphabetical!

Thanks! Trying to be patient as best as possible lol. Did you contact the advisor today?

And your suspicions are right, they are not going in alphabetical order. If I remember correctly, someone with their last name beginning with ‘S’ got their email. It’s such a tease because I’m ‘T’ haha.

Yes I emailed her today! I hope everyone gets there's really soon! I mean I knew all of my stuff was verified and received in NursingCAS but it's still nice to finally get the confirmation from TWU!

I got my eligibility email over a month ago however, my last name starts with a B. Anyone with a late alphabet last name gotten their eligibility email yet? I’m just trying to get an idea of how close they are to being done and ready to send out acceptance letters!

I don't think they go in alphabetical order! Someone mentioned before that there last name started with T and got there's a few weeks ago, mine starts with R and I just got it this week. They sent out acceptances Friday November 2 last year around 5pm so I'm hoping we'll hear by Friday November 1st this year ???
