Hello everyone,
Are you applying to Houston, Dallas traditional, or Dallas N&W? I am applying to TWU Dallas traditional in August for Spring 2021. Right now I am finishing up some nursing core classes and I plan on taking the TEAS over the Summer if corona virus allows it. I also have TWU preference points that helped my admission score a lot.
What is your admission score? As of Spring 2020 admissions, to calculate your admission score, you can use the Google spread sheet. Download the file to put in your classes and grades.

My advisor said that the competitive range is between 50 and 55 for Dallas traditional.
I am not. Because stupid Nursing CAS flagged me for not having transcripts from all of my schools. Like Eastfield and Brookhaven ??♀️ Never mind they had my transcript from Dallas County Community Colleges. They said they would submit a request to rescan the transcript they already had that listed those campuses and their grades. I wish they had decided to become unified Dallas College last semester so I didn’t have to jump through this hoop. My advisor just said make sure you turn it in on time and he will see what he could do

It could be a little bit of both. I must say though that I find it odd that the person who created this thread hasn’t been very active/communicative at all on it....

I also find it strange that not as many people have commented on this thread as previous semesters. Maybe it is just because not as many people applied?
I took my TEAS and received a 84.7 and I have a nursing core GPA of 3.68. My admission score is 58.87 with the preference points.
My friend that applied this time last year received her acceptance letter the last Sunday in October. So maybe we will all find out on Halloween. I hope it is sooner! Good luck to everyone that applied!

I had the same problem because my NursingCas GPA is lower than my true GPA and that worried me too!
I emailed an advisor and she said that they take into account the nursing core GPA when calculating the admission score and not NursingCas calculated GPA. She also said that we will not see our nursing core GPA in NursingCas until they begun the reviewing process throughout the month of September.

I know the deadline literally closed TODAY but does anyone have any idea of how long it usually takes before we start hearing back?
