TWU Spring 2021 Applicants

Published

Hello everyone,

Are you applying to Houston, Dallas traditional, or Dallas N&W? I am applying to TWU Dallas traditional in August for Spring 2021. Right now I am finishing up some nursing core classes and I plan on taking the TEAS over the Summer if corona virus allows it. I also have TWU preference points that helped my admission score a lot.

What is your admission score? As of Spring 2020 admissions, to calculate your admission score, you can use the Google spread sheet. Download the file to put in your classes and grades.

My advisor said that the competitive range is between 50 and 55 for Dallas traditional.

I still haven’t gotten my email saying I’m eligible. So don’t worry if you guys  haven’t gotten it! My advisor told me it’s random and it doesn’t go in any specific order. We should be getting it sometime this month.

Thanks for this! I was getting nervous because I haven't gotten an email yet

Do you mind sharing if you are applying to Dallas or Houston? I have checked my emails and I haven’t received anything.

I applied to the Houston campus, I found the email in my junk mail!

I still haven't received an email like that. I'm trying to be patient but I'm also freaking out.

I didn't receive an email from UTMB and I waited too long to check on it. Then it was too late and my application wasn't even looked at ?

I think someone had mentioned talking to an advisor and being told people will be receiving eligibility emails potentially through early October.

Anyone who's applied to Dallas gotten an eligibility?

If you don’t mind me asking when did you apply?

I turned mine in a few days before the deadline and was verified on literally the last day. I received my eligibility email 9/2.

I sent an email about my application status and this was the reply I got today.

"Thank you for contacting College of Nursing.

BSN NursingCas applications are currently being processed. We have received over 800 applications for Spring 2021.  It might take awhile before you get an update on your application status. It could be as early as today or as late as early-October. Each advisor has a different alphabetical range of applicants to go through, which means that someone with the last name Ramirez might get a status update before someone with the last name Jones. Keep watching the email address that you listed in your NursingCAS application.

We appreciate your patience during the processing of applications.  We will notify you as soon as possible regarding the decision."
