TWU Spring 2021 Applicants

Published

Hello everyone,

Are you applying to Houston, Dallas traditional, or Dallas N&W? I am applying to TWU Dallas traditional in August for Spring 2021. Right now I am finishing up some nursing core classes and I plan on taking the TEAS over the Summer if corona virus allows it. I also have TWU preference points that helped my admission score a lot.

What is your admission score? As of Spring 2020 admissions, to calculate your admission score, you can use the Google spread sheet. Download the file to put in your classes and grades.

My advisor said that the competitive range is between 50 and 55 for Dallas traditional.

I got into Dallas!

I got into Dallas!!

I got acceptance into Dallas!

Hi Everyone!

I received my lovely email from TWU this morning and have been in a daze the past few hours. I finally decided to search for chatter online and found this website and message board!

Status: I am currently waitlisted. I am a bit stunned because I thought admittance is simply based on points. My advisor said an Admissions Score of 55 was competitive enough to earn a seat at the Dallas campus. My score was higher than that based on their calculations.

Imagine my surprise when I read posts with users stating a score lower than that, yet they received an offer. Am I missing something? Is there another factor besides our score? Could my advisor have made a mistake? Or maybe I made a mistake … Either way I am … simply existing and mentally scrambling to figure out my next step.

Fingers crossed my Waitlist email is replaced with an Acceptance ??

Lastly, ?CONGRATULATIONS? to everyone that received an Acceptance Letter to the Dallas and Houston campuses!

Yes! What app do you want to use for the group?

There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.

One is to create a facebook page.  This link is allowed to be posted.

The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.

Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.

We wish you success in your Nursing program!

I just create a facebook group for Dallas program.

I am not very good with this kind of things, so if anyone is good at this please let me know and I will assign you admin.

Thanks!

OMG! I got accepted into the dallas program.

Overall GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 90.7

Admission score: 55.5

No prior bachelor, no TWU preference. I am so happy. Congrats to everyone else.

I got waitlisted into the Dallas program ? this was my third time applying? I was a transfer student so I didn’t get the 12 preference points and applied with around 49 points ?

I really want to get in the program ??Wish me luck

Do yall know when we officially start? I have a wedding out of state January 6-11.
