TWU Spring 2014 Applicants

Hey everyone. I just wanted to start a thread for all of those hoping to get into TWU starting Spring 2014. My name is Kia and I have already sent in my application and completed my TEAS V exam. I'll be in the Denton campus patho class this fall (trying to wait patiently for an acceptance letter-GOD willing).

apparently patho will be the death for incoming students? Someone please elaborate me on this class

It's not THAT bad. It's doable but it will be tough to get A's. The teacher doesn't do a lot in the ways of teaching...most just reads through the notes at the speed of light. I'm a J1 and in Patho. I wish I had taken it before this semester but I'm surviving. You just to learn time management and be really really good at it.

People who are taking the patho class this semester, know if this class will be transfer when you go to the nursing school?

I am currently taking the patho class at the Denton campus but I know you could have taken it at the Dallas campus also. I never would have known to take patho if I hadn't talked to the advisor. The book we are using for class, I got at the TWU campus and it's called Pathophyisiology. I heard a few people in my class ordered the study guide from amazon and it's the same material we go over in class. Hopes this helps the confusion. And I agree with you guys, these last few weeks are making me sick. :/ Oh and looking at the thread for fall, I saw that all the one who were accepted got an email as well as a letter and people who weren't accepted only got a letter.
