TWU Spring 2014 Applicants

Published

Hey everyone. I just wanted to start a thread for all of those hoping to get into TWU starting Spring 2014. My name is Kia and I have already sent in my application and completed my TEAS V exam. I'll be in the Denton campus patho class this fall (trying to wait patiently for an acceptance letter-GOD willing).

To take pathophysiology, we have to accepted first right?

You have to be accepted to TWU but not to the nursing program. I am taking patho now while waiting to see if I get into the program for the Spring.

Exhausted of waiting :clown:

Do you have to take patho at the denton campus?

Me too, I can't wait to hear from them. TWU/Houston is my first choice, and pray a lot to be accepted. Good luck to everyone.

Ughh/ did not know... Now if I get accepted, I am going to suffer with that class, many people say that is too difficult. Can you guys told me a good book and what you recommend to start studying? please

does anyone know how many students they accept for spring semesters? is it less than fall?roughly how many applicants can we expect?? finally, how many students on the waitlist usually go through?

Yeah, you are right and it works the same for any school. Can someone tell me a good book for pathophysiology, wanted to start studying the subject. Also, how I found out what classes we need to take during the first semester? Thank you.

I'm assuming you will be taking Patho once Nursing School starts? In that case, I can't really say because I'm not sure what book your instructor may be using. But for my current Patho class, I use [h=1]"Study Guide for Pathophysiology: The Biological Basis for Disease in Adults and Children, 6ed" to help me study.[/h]

IHAVE A QUESTION IN REGARDS TO ACCEPTANCE EMAILS. My question is...that's what we're looking for right? Emails only and not letters? Thanks! I just wish this month would hurry up already because I'm sick to my stomach on waiting.

PS: I saw someone ask about the first Patho exam, I thought it was better than I expected; although a few questions came out of nowhere. I'm not as prepared for this exam as the last one. I'm hoping she ends up pushing it back to next Tuesday.

I wonder what taking TWu so long to give out admission decision. UTHSC has more appicants and they already changed admitted applicants' statuses and announced it through email.:angrybird9:

Thank you misstiko07, for the info. :)

Any of you applied to Sam Houston and PV?

apparently patho will be the death for incoming students? Someone please elaborate me on this class

I also apply for PV & UTHSC
