TWU Nursing Applicants - Fall 2019

Just about a year early here, but I wanted to create a thread for Fall 2019 applicants. This is my first time joining a nursing forum; so, let's give it a shot.

I'm not sure about the traditional programs and how many are accepted but for N&W its 30 students. TWU is very competitive and it seems to get more competitive each year, just based on my observation, you can always call and speak with an advisor on how many people they accept for each campus

I think usually there are 110-120 accepted for Dallas traditional. I was originally declined but I just got an acceptance letter.

she posted on another thread TWU spring 2020 and said she had 53 pts

Pre-reg GPA: 3.68

Teas: 85.3%

Previous Bachelor's Bump

Points: 53.27

I am grateful to God i took the teas again. My points when i applied in December was 52.16 4.0 GPA, 83% teas and previous bachelors bump but i wasn't sure i would get admitted. so i took the teas again in January and got 86% and my points became 56.26 and i got admitted. Seeing that u were initially denied with 53.27 i would have been denied too if i didnt retake Teas.

For those who are in Dallas Traditional, have you guys filled out the Clinical Placement survey? I did but I can't remember if it asked what days/times we prefer for our clinicals. I don't think it did, but I want to make sure I didn't miss something. Has anyone else filled it out?
