TWU Nursing Applicants - Fall 2019

Just about a year early here, but I wanted to create a thread for Fall 2019 applicants. This is my first time joining a nursing forum; so, let's give it a shot.

Got my eligibility email!! Now just a waiting game for acceptance. Fingers crossed. My last name starts with G, if anyone is wondering!

Hey guys, I need some clarification. Twu only look at science GPA and Nursing core GPA right?

They look at nursing core GPA, TEAS, and any preference and rank based on points

Should I be worried if my NursingCas was verified two weeks ago but I haven’t received an eligibility email yet? Starting to panic a little...

Since you were verified by NursingCas I think you'll be okay. But if you'd like, you should call them with the phone number provided a few pages ago. I was verified by NursingCas at the begining of last week and I just now received my eligibility email from TWU.

I called the number last week and they said to wait. They had everything they needed from me. I’m not sure if that means I’m eligible or not though?

I was verified for almost 3 weeks before I got an email. I wouldn't panic!

this time last Fall they were pretty much done with ranking applicants for the N& W program and we found out the following week...being that everyone finds out together this time around, according to the advisors, i feel like this is going to be a looonnngggg wait!!! LOL hurry up March!

I hope that they end up finishing the N&W program first & letting us know! In the past those who don’t get in get their application rolled over for the traditional program, plus there are less students in the N&W program, so it would make sense for us to hear earlier!

But we may just have to wait???
