Just about a year early here, but I wanted to create a thread for Fall 2019 applicants. This is my first time joining a nursing forum; so, let's give it a shot.

Hey don't get down on yourself! Just know you can study hard and get in for Spring 2020. You've worked so hard to even get to this point so just stay positive and push a little more and you've got this. I most likely won't get in due to my TEAS score, so I get that feeling of disappointment. What I did to study was get a baseline of where I was at by taking practice tests and studying really hard on the things I struggled with. My scores were pretty good, but I didn't study at all for the science section which was my downfall, it's been about 6 months since I took A&P and I thought I could wing it, I couldn't. Good luck to you, keep working, you've got this!

They don’t take overall GPA into consideration, only your science gpa.
Your science GPA is calculated from Chemistry, A&P 1, A&P 2, Microbiology, Developmental Psychology, & Statistics.
If you make an A in a class that is 4 points, B= 3 points, C= 2 points.
You multiply the points from the grade you make by the numbers of credit hours the class has (example: A&P 1 is a 4 credit hour class).
You then add up all of the points after multiplying your grade points by credit hours. Then you divine this total by the total number of credit hours from the 6 classes (which should be 22 hours). This is your science GPA that is taken into account for your admission score!

Hi! Dont feel so down. Many of us took the exam multiple times. Also, there are a lot of facebook groups over the ATI TEAS. Ive been in the "ATI TEAS 6 TEST- Study Group" facebook group for a couple of weeks now. Everyone there shares their scores and study habits as well as links to reviews, youtube videos, and other helpful information. Hope this help and keep trying!
