Hi - I am applying to TWU Houston Campus for Spring 2015 and I wanted to see any other 2015 TWU hopefuls out there!
I will be taking Microbiology this summer so that I can have my core courses completed by Sept. 1st. As of right now I have first-try A's in AP I and II as well as Statistics... Just need to get my Micro completed and out of the way. I am a very nervous because I was not as focused on school as I should have been when I was younger. My cumulative GPA is only 3.4. Ugh! My prereq GPA is 3.8.
Also, I took the dreaded TEAS V test this week and my score was not as high as I would have liked but I passed! 77%. Anyone else take their TEAS yet? How did you do?
Hello everyone!Congrats to all the people that got accepted already but now
I am freaking out I applied with a 3.8 GPA and I made 75 on my TEAS test and I haven't heard anything ;/
Hi, someone has actually answered this earlier... but I'm here to confirm. I'd hate to burst anyones bubble, but I hope no one has to hear it the way I did. I emailed asking whether or not the committee was done with the admissions process or if they were still reviewing applicants because I know some of you guys have already received your acceptance letters and well, I haven't heard anything yet. A lady responded saying that they were actually done; acceptance letters were sent out last week, and oh by the way, "unfortunately, you were not accepted"........... buuuummmer. Well. At least the wait is over, and now I know. It's okay though, staying positive for the other schools I applied to! I know TWU's super competitive! Congrats and goodluck to all who were accepted!
I'm in the same boat... prior to the application deadline, advisor said my prerequisite gpa was plenty competitive. I got 77 on my TEAS and wow did I kick myself when I saw all the scores. I should have retaken the TEAS. Oh well, nothing can be done now. Just got to believe IT WILL HAPPEN!!! I’m getting prepared to kick some booty for Feb’s application deadline.
Are you sure? I was reading on the Q&A:How long does the program take?
The program takes approximately 1 year (fall, spring, summer) if enrolled full time and 2 years if enrolled part time. For RN-MS students, the MS program will take an additional 1 ½ to 3 years, depending on how rapidly you move through the program.
Maybe it's different if you start in the Fall. I'm not sure either but I was told it was about a year if you were full time.
That time frame is specific to RN to BSN students and as you mentioned above, RN to MS. Our program is two years (four semesters)!
If acceptance letters were all sent out last week, does this mean they don't send out denials? We just assume that since we didn't get an acceptance letter already then we're rejected?
I bet they are waiting until after this week. Those who were accepted have until Friday to respond. If people decide not to attend or don't respond by the deadline, maybe they will send out a few more acceptances.
