TWU Houston Spring 2015 Applicants

Published

Hi - I am applying to TWU Houston Campus for Spring 2015 and I wanted to see any other 2015 TWU hopefuls out there!

I will be taking Microbiology this summer so that I can have my core courses completed by Sept. 1st. As of right now I have first-try A's in AP I and II as well as Statistics... Just need to get my Micro completed and out of the way. I am a very nervous because I was not as focused on school as I should have been when I was younger. My cumulative GPA is only 3.4. Ugh! My prereq GPA is 3.8.

Also, I took the dreaded TEAS V test this week and my score was not as high as I would have liked but I passed! 77%. Anyone else take their TEAS yet? How did you do?

Congrats to those that have been accepted!!! The wait is finally over.

Can those that were accepted/not accepted post their stats so I know where I stand with my GPA for the next admission cycle? This is really important. Thank you.

Congratulations again 

I had a 3.9 GPA and scored a 92 on the TEAS

I have a 3.01 GPA, bachelor's degree from UT Austin, and scored an 88.9 on the TEAS. For all of you with GPA's on the lower end-- Don't give up! There's a spot for you somewhere :)

I have already accepted another offer from an accelerated program so I sent my declination to TWU today. Congratulations and good luck, y'all!

Congratulations again ???

3.92 GPA and 85.3 TEAS V

I had to add Dec. to the group name, because there was already a "Class of 2016" although its for May graduates. The one I created is a closed group but you can find it by searching "TWU Houston SON Class of Dec. 2016" and try to add yourselves to it!

Thank you!!!

I too was on the lower end of the GPA scale: 3.5 and an 88% on the TEAS!

that's the highest teas score I've seen so far. Congrats. What did you use to study and for how long did you study for the TEAS test?

Wow. Your teas score really helped a lot. Thanks. This is all useful information. Thank you.

Beat of luck in whatever path you choose

I was on the lower end of the GPA scale. I was accepted with a 3.2 GPA and a 90 on the TEAS. Don't give up hope! The acceptance stats change every application cycle. It depends on the stats of everyone applying for that certain semester.

This might be a bit premature, but what is everyone doing about housing?

My GPA was on the lower end at 3.6 but I scored a 99 on the TEAS. No idea how I got so lucky. I also have a bachelor's degree in chemistry from a&m but I'm not sure how heavily they weigh that if at all.

I bought the cheapest TEAS study guide I could find on the kindle. I took the quizzes to see what I needed to work on, and only studied that material a few times a week. I aced everything but science - some of those questions were really out of left field!

Maybe you guys've already known this but I've just found out there's a TWU app ?
