I could not for the life of me find a thread for people who were going to be going to Houston in the fall, so here we go.
I was going out for the fast track 2009 in Dallas, got denied and put back in the fall applicant pool, then BAM:D, got hit with the shocker last night when I got home from work that I had been accepted to the regular BSN program in Houston.
I'm really excited to start a new chapter and I thought this would be a good way to meet other members of the class before we get there. So shout out where you're from and your background so we can all get to know each other before August!
(P.S.- I've also been accepted to the community college in my hometown, which is closer, cheaper, and probably going to be easier, but I think it would be borderline offensive to turn down such an awesome offer, let me know what you think)
I am pretty sure they do. I just wanted it early..HEHE. I have been ordering things from my current college and decided to check to see if TWU goes throught the same people and shockingly they do. So I decided to pick up some things.
I am a current student at the Houston Campus and I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. By the way, there are several small breaks for the 5 hr patho class this summer and no there isn't a book store on campus. there is a store down fannin called Majors Books. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Littlerae26 could you give us a list of the books we need for the first semester?? Is it true we really don't need a book for patho?? Did u use a study guide that goes with the book for pharm if there is one?? How did you study for the assesment class?? Did u use a NCLEX study book??
hi guys! i just got back from getting my tdap and titer for varicella.. and may i add, i was in tears lol.. i didnt think i was a big baby til i saw that needle lol...
PPLEASE tell us how your first semester was?.. as far as all that classes..how to prepare for exams..and tha patho class as well.. do you think it is necessary to buy the book package or is it better to buy books online from like ebay? guide us thru our first semester lol...
