I could not for the life of me find a thread for people who were going to be going to Houston in the fall, so here we go.
I was going out for the fast track 2009 in Dallas, got denied and put back in the fall applicant pool, then BAM:D, got hit with the shocker last night when I got home from work that I had been accepted to the regular BSN program in Houston.
I'm really excited to start a new chapter and I thought this would be a good way to meet other members of the class before we get there. So shout out where you're from and your background so we can all get to know each other before August!
(P.S.- I've also been accepted to the community college in my hometown, which is closer, cheaper, and probably going to be easier, but I think it would be borderline offensive to turn down such an awesome offer, let me know what you think)
Finally, I get to go and do the drug test on Thrusday! Yay!
I'm getting really frustrated. I trying to call Dr Ayers about an estimation when i need to finish my criminal back ground check as it is not listed in the packet. I can't buy the air tickets to go home before I know the answer to that question. Please anynoe if you can get hold of dr. Ayers, please ask for me about an estimation of the criminal background check date. Thanks!
You don't do the criminal background check until after the may advisement session. You just sign that form and send it to the address they asked you to.
Sophia, nhoward is correct. It specificly said not have this done prior to the May 8th seminar. I want to say they will be giving us information about the criminal background check then. Glad to hear you got your email in regards to drug testing.
has anyone looked at places to live yet? i found a couple places that seem nice and sound affordable, but theres always a small catch to it when you call and find out more info
I don't know if the online version is going to be open, on the other forum they are saying that someone called and said that one isn't going to be offered for us only face to face.
