I could not for the life of me find a thread for people who were going to be going to Houston in the fall, so here we go.
I was going out for the fast track 2009 in Dallas, got denied and put back in the fall applicant pool, then BAM:D, got hit with the shocker last night when I got home from work that I had been accepted to the regular BSN program in Houston.
I'm really excited to start a new chapter and I thought this would be a good way to meet other members of the class before we get there. So shout out where you're from and your background so we can all get to know each other before August!
(P.S.- I've also been accepted to the community college in my hometown, which is closer, cheaper, and probably going to be easier, but I think it would be borderline offensive to turn down such an awesome offer, let me know what you think)
HI guys!! wow r33sa thats tough! both are good options, working will help you with school, but taking patho will take off alot of stress, cause we all still have pharm to take.
i was reading another thread and they were former TWU people, and they were saying stuff about books and how our junior 1 and senior 1 will be the toughest semester ever!
so i called health lady and she told me to fax my stuff over cause i had chickenpox when we are supposed to get the varicella vaccine, so she looked over my stuff, and she said i need to get the varicalla titer shot and tb of course, and and and TDAP, cause my tetnus 10 yr booster expires on my 22nd birthday in sept. lol which sucks.. and ive searched around all those together come out to be like 200!!
lol im gooin broke before our advisement day! lol
a fast tracker found this thread, don't know how helpful it will be

I think there are a couple of people that are going to take patho in the fall. There isn't a way that you could go to part time and take the online class?
I don't know a good answer for that one, it soundsl ike a little dilemma
