I could not for the life of me find a thread for people who were going to be going to Houston in the fall, so here we go.
I was going out for the fast track 2009 in Dallas, got denied and put back in the fall applicant pool, then BAM:D, got hit with the shocker last night when I got home from work that I had been accepted to the regular BSN program in Houston.
I'm really excited to start a new chapter and I thought this would be a good way to meet other members of the class before we get there. So shout out where you're from and your background so we can all get to know each other before August!
(P.S.- I've also been accepted to the community college in my hometown, which is closer, cheaper, and probably going to be easier, but I think it would be borderline offensive to turn down such an awesome offer, let me know what you think)
Princess, i think the reason why you haven't got your packet is because you changed your address. Do you think that could be the reason? Call dr ayers tomorrow and ask her to fax or scan a copy of the drug screening form, you should be good to go!

looks like the tnsa gives you discounts on lots of stuffs so it really might be worth while to join. Nursing school is expensive, i can totally understand you, princess.
I'm assuming it will be in some format online that maybe timed. It would be too hard to have people go to a testing center since they don't know if everyone is in the same city
Called the health people at the denton campus n I don't have to take a titer for my hep b!! I'm so happy. Trying to save money any way I can
I am always curious how online classes do testing. I mean you can just open youor book and find the answer. But idk..
I went to take my drug test this morning. Super exciting! Lol, not really. But I'm glad I got it over with, and thrilled I got to sit in traffic for 2 hours.
I need advice from you guys. I'm not sure wether to work or to take patho online. I wanna work because they are going to increase my pay if i do. But at the same time, i wanna take patho to get it over with and lessen the burden for the first semester. I can't do both at the same time because the schedule would overlap with each other. What do you think?
is there anyone taking patho in the fall as opposed to the summer?
