Hello, my name's Tien and I'm going to apply for TWU Houston Fall 14'. I noticed there's a topic for Dallas but none for Houston so I'm starting this one, hoping it will be a place for us hopeful applicants to come and share information.
BTW, my stats are: GPA 3.892, TEAS V 85.3%, 2/4 first attempt, and previous BA in Business. I'm scared b/c of my "1st attempt" since I see most that got in have 3 or 4/4 ...
Would you guys mind sharing what's in the packet? I'm so impatient! LOL
The packet has the dates for orientation 3! May 2nd, Aug. 21st & 22nd. All of which are required to attend. It also has a drug and background form to be filled out with info. Then the immunizations sheet as well. There is also a price sheet with needed supplies that we can buy in may!! Small packet I expected larger.
Has anyone started on their immunizations? I called today at the Humble health clinic (if anyone is familiar ) and was told they do not have what I need. Does anyone know of a place that is not too costly, preferably, in the north Houston area (i stay around the kingwood area) or anywhere?
This may be a silly question but if we start fall '14 and the program 4 semesters long do we have summer breaks? So we would get out December 15 if we do have summer classes or do we not have classes summer so we would get out spring '16?
TWU doesn't have summer classes unless you want to take Patho this summer or the woman's elective we need to graduate... but yes we are graduating spring of '16 aah seems forever away!
