I am currently in the process of applying to TWU's weekend program for Fall 2012 and I just wanted to start a new thread for any prospective TWU nursing students as well as current students!
For those of you who don't know, TWU has a weekend program for students with a previous bachelor degree in another field. From what I understand, if you are not selected for the weekend program, they will automatically consider you for the traditional program as well.
The minimum GPA requirement is 3.0 with the TEAS V entrance exam also required in order to apply..and of course you also have to complete the required pre-requisite courses.
If anyone else has any more detailed information regarding this program, your input is certainly welcome. I hope this thread is helpful for anyone considering nursing school at TWU. :)
Fellow hopefuls!! I just called the nursing office and they told me they're ready to go. They're sending out acceptance letters TOMORROW! Fingers crossed.. I really hope we all make it in!
I am in the same boat ... I've been trying for about the last hour. I'm a little excited though because I have a buddy that just graduated from there and she said she received an email the day before her letter arrived! I can't help but hope!
Hey guys! I applied to for spring 2012 (the current semester), and I'm now a J1 at TWU Dallas. They send out acceptance letters via email AND snail mail, but you'll get the email first. They kept telling us we would find out mid-november, but they sent out emails on Halloween. I know ya'll are SUPER anxious/excited/nervous but hang there! :)Good luck to you all!

The thing that frightens me is that 800+ people applied and of those a lot of people were still considered *sigh*
