I am currently in the process of applying to TWU's weekend program for Fall 2012 and I just wanted to start a new thread for any prospective TWU nursing students as well as current students!
For those of you who don't know, TWU has a weekend program for students with a previous bachelor degree in another field. From what I understand, if you are not selected for the weekend program, they will automatically consider you for the traditional program as well.
The minimum GPA requirement is 3.0 with the TEAS V entrance exam also required in order to apply..and of course you also have to complete the required pre-requisite courses.
If anyone else has any more detailed information regarding this program, your input is certainly welcome. I hope this thread is helpful for anyone considering nursing school at TWU. :)
Yup DFWgal, I got my fin aid letter today also... What's funny is I've been getting miscellaneous emails about the power outage and I'm like "Stop it!" I only want ONE email at this point, lol
No financial aid letter for me yet. Does anyone know at approximately what time do they send out acceptance emails? Last semester, it seemed like they received it during the afternoon. Hopefully we'll know by tomorrow. I have this urge to call them and ask if they're going to send out emails in rounds. I think I've bugged them enough already LOL
I know that at other schools, they tend to wait til just before 5:00 on a Friday to avoid a barrage of calls and emails from students afterwards. Not really sure how TWU will do it though.
Hi Guys!!! Well, first of all... congrats to all of you who are already accepted and the ones who are going to be. We need to keep in contact in here but I think is better to go to TWU-Houston Fall 2012 and leave our comments there. Also, there is a lot of paper work to do so we better star a facebook page asap lol can't wait to meet you all...

I'm guessing the server being down yesterday may have delayed the process a bit. Just our luck!
