TWU FALL 2015

Hi everybody!!! I just wanted to see if a previous thread for TWU Fall 2015 has been started,if not I wanted to start one. Is there anybody else planning to apply for this program? Also where is everybody at with TEAS testing and pre reqs??Any feedback is appreciated!!!

@clay7 I'm in the Monday class with McArthur in Dallas.

Im taking Patho at the Denton campus with Mrs. Malik. I dropped out of Mrs.McArthur's last semester. Mrs.Malik is very nice and she explains everything in full detail. We also have a total of 10 quizzes throughout the semester which helps alot! She also speaks slower than Mrs. McArthur :D

Are you in the Tuesday/Thursday class?

Mine says the exact same thing. That is just talking about admission to the school, not the College of Nursing. Hopefully, we get a response in 3 weeks from the CON. I will say as much as I hate Patho these days, I'm grateful for it too because I have something to focus on during this wait time.

I hear that! If I didn't have classes right now, I would be even more impatient! :)

Hey yall! Glad to find this thread! Stats are:

GPA: 3.4

TEAS: 82

not crazy hopeful that'll I will get in since my GPA is lower but who knows :) I applied to the weekend program but will do the traditional program if accepted to it instead. So glad they consider you for both! The advisor told me this week that they intend to send out the weekend acceptance emails by the end of February!!! Maybe that means there's hardly any applicants?!?

Kudos to you for reaching out to the advisor and asking questions! I've wanted to but I wasn't sure if I should.

I had no idea they consider you for both! I wished I applied for the weekend program. Darn!

Dallas! My impression is that they are only sending out the weekend acceptance letters next week that way they can look at the traditional program and add the weekend applicants who didn't get in. The advisor I talked to was super nice!

I can't believe the month of February is almost over! I feel like it's going by much faster now that I am not looking at the calendar everyday haha.

I spoke with an advisor earlier this week as well!

There were a little over 700 applicants for both Houston and Dallas combined with of course 110 spots for Houston and 120 for Dallas. Unfortunately she was unable to tell me how many applicants there were for each campus. :( But acceptance letters/emails should be sent out early March! :nailbiting::up: It's almost here guys!

Me too! I am not looking forward to this next exam

I'm just glad she got rid of 3 chapters and made our 4th quiz online! I was really freaking out about having to read chapters on my own for the test!
