TWU Fall 2010

Published

Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Fall of 2010? I got this idea from a previous thread and thought I should get one started for this semester, so that we can help each other and communicate with each other?

I have taken the Hesi-A2 and got a 74.8 on it so they didn't even look at my application. I live on campus so any help or information I can give just let me know. I'm excited and feel good about this deadline.

Good luck and I look forward to meeting you!

so i got a blackboard announcement from patho. dr. g said to ignore our weighted avg b/c its a few points lower than our real grade. did anyone check?

All she was saying was that the weighted total of each exam was a little off on Black Board. It says that test 1, 2, and 3 are worth 23.3% and the final is worth 30%. That is wrong...each test is worth 25%. Basically the grade that you see is the correct grade :uhoh3:

Why is she still talking to us? I am soo done with that course...leave me ALONE:alcps:!!!!!!

BTW...I wish someone would tell me which of these books REALLY need to be brought to campus every day. There is NO backpack, roller bag, or luggage that will hold all of this junk! And where am I going to put a notebook and pens?? This is soo sad it has me laughing.

On a lighter note, what in the heck is up with this baby? It's like it is dancing on a treadmill...I am confused!:dncgcpd:

ooohh.. boo. thanks for the info.

Alright, I have ordered my books, every single one except the drug guide. I want to look at them before I get one.

So, what all do we need exactly? I don't remember if we had a list or not. I got a lot of penlights and I'm getting my stethoscope this week. I know we need more things but it is so late right now, I can't think. I'm going to sleep...

That's a crazy baby!

The left-most drop down menu should have an option for account statements. On that page, you should see your routing and account number. I was able to use those to make a credit card payment. I could not find a way to transfer to a checking account on the page. I would check your bank's website to see if there's an option to transfer money into your account. I'm going to try tomorrow to transfer money to my mom' account...I'll let you know how it goes...

Cool, Thanks TXcatcher! Man, everytime they come up with some NEW idea, things become more and more complicated...:uhoh3:

I know that Chase and Wells Fargo have options to transfer money from other accounts to their account. Just use the routing number and account number from the One Account...it is NOT an instant transfer though, both were at least 3-4 business days.

Thanks Moe, I will try that too.

Lol, I don't know what's going on with him!!

There was a list, though I can't find mine right now. Here is a list of the things that I have.

  • pocket kit (pen light, scissors, pen,)
  • Stethoscope (dual headed)
  • blood pressure cuff
  • Clipboard with calculator and timer
  • watch (with second hand)
  • name tags (hopfully getting them at orientation)
  • shoes (white or black)
  • scrubs (obviously)
  • thousands of books
  • MY SANITY!!!

That is all I can think of right now...hope it helps!

I don't have a watch....hmm...should I get one?

Hey which county health clinics do you guys go to? The cheaper the better lol.

For vaccinations? I went to a Harris County clinic in Baytown, and it was free since I made almost no money and had no insurance.

That reminds me...I still need to get something done for varicella...oops.
