TWU Fall 2010

Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Fall of 2010? I got this idea from a previous thread and thought I should get one started for this semester, so that we can help each other and communicate with each other?

I have taken the Hesi-A2 and got a 74.8 on it so they didn't even look at my application. I live on campus so any help or information I can give just let me know. I'm excited and feel good about this deadline.

We shouldn't have to have both pairs (or more) of scrubs til it's time for clinicals right??

I think you're right. Unless we're supposed to wear scrubs + labcoat for lab days?

From what I have been told...lab days are scrub-wearing days.

I'm a sucker and bought everything on the day of advisement...oh well:o I don't know how to sew on a patch plus I knew I'd be overwhelmed by the choices if I went looking for scrubs myself.

I also looked at wine/burgandy colors...but again, all the scrubs I liked didn't come in those colors. I found a thread on allnurses about scrubs and what people liked, so I looked at a lot of those. My friend who graduated from TWU told me not to spend a lot on scrubs...

Are we planning an after-exam meetup to celebrate the end of patho?

At my advisement (the 2nd one), I asked about the color of the scrubs. I only asked because there was another girl attending the advisement that was wearing a maroon set. The CON coordinator told us that the color is WINE...not bugundy or maroon.

I also asked the same question when I went to Career Uniforms (the place that was selling the uniforms) and they told me that maroon used to be the color, but it has been changed to WINE, and all of their orders from TWU would be filled with wine scrubs.

I had to ask mundane questions like this because there was no scrub fitting or equipment selling at this advisement. "The People" couldn't show up.
