TWU Fall 2010

Published

Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Fall of 2010? I got this idea from a previous thread and thought I should get one started for this semester, so that we can help each other and communicate with each other?

I have taken the Hesi-A2 and got a 74.8 on it so they didn't even look at my application. I live on campus so any help or information I can give just let me know. I'm excited and feel good about this deadline.

Good luck and I look forward to meeting you!

I asked that same question at the 2nd Advisement session. There were 95 admitted, but the BSN coordinator (I forgot her name) told me that since there are 2 BSN programs it would be hard to figure how many applied to the traditional program.

Two programs? I thought TWU did away with the fast-track to BSN program? At least, that's what they told me...oh well :)

By two programs, I believe she was talking about 1st degree versus 2nd degree BSN. You are right in that there is no longer a Fast Track program.

I am trying to come up with a positive reason why there are still no grades posted. Maybe it is because there were issues with some of the questions compared to the lecture/tutor. That is the only thing I can come up with, but maybe that is more of an excuse and not a real reason.:anbd:

Way to stay positive :yeah: I'll be ready for a two week break come August 12. I officially quit my job on August 20 and transition into a full-time student...scary stuff!

I am soooo ready! I leave town as soon as the final is over. I want to see how much damage I can do in two weeks :D.

I have heard so many people say that nursing school will drain you mentally and emotionally. That is kind of scary. I feel stupid being excited about the upcomming pain and suffering, but I can't wait :)

Now back to the heart... and brain...

I think waiting on test grades is emotionally draining enough... We're having a test in less than 48 hours, but we still don't know the grade for our last test?! She should have brought the tests with her to class the other day if she wasn't going to actually grade them and post the grades. She's useless.

I agree mzmoe. I too think that's why the grades aren't up. I guess I'm just trying to psych myself into creating a logical excuse/reason for her...when in fact, there really is NO EXCUSE, I mean come oonnnn. 4 days and still nothing, is she serious?!

I can't wait to move on to something else...no more heart, no more brain, no more endocrine...2 weeks of stuffing this in my brain is driving me crazy. I will now enjoy a glass or two of wine and enjoy the rest of my evening.

Hey, at least we got bonuses on the next 2 exams.

Yup! I'm glad we have some bonus!

Haha! Everett just posted the tutoring hours and included "those who made below 75"....hmmm? How the heck should we know?

Tutoring is still 9-12...just FYI...

I just read that...haha, wish we knew.
