Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Fall of 2010? I got this idea from a previous thread and thought I should get one started for this semester, so that we can help each other and communicate with each other?
I have taken the Hesi-A2 and got a 74.8 on it so they didn't even look at my application. I live on campus so any help or information I can give just let me know. I'm excited and feel good about this deadline.
Good luck and I look forward to meeting you!
I went to try to pay my tuition for the summer, but I'm not sure how much to pay because it has what I'm guessing is the fall tuition on there. Has anyone else had this problem? I thought we had until June 1 to pay...
You are right...we have until June 1st @ 6pm to pay for the long summer courses (formerly summerIII). I am not sure how you are going about paying, but here is how I got to my Summer tuition
That should show you the balance for the Summer only. If that doesn't work I would call the office so that you don't get dropped.
:)
I couldn't figure it out and I was in a hurry the other day so I went on webadvisor and looke up on account summary by term what the cost for the summer class was, then on the bill pay I just clicked pay, put my info, then selected summer 2010 and typed in the amount that it said on webadvisor. So far I have not been dropped lol so I'm hoping I did it right.. The site it took me to to pay was confusing but it's payed so hopefully it is all ok! I got a confirmation email as well so if they do drop me I'll just have to call and hopefully they'll help me out with it. But I think it's ok I guess there's two ways of doing it lol mine was just the more confusing way.
Was the total for the summer session the same amount that it says on webadvisor for everyone? I have no computer here i had to borrow someones just to pay I have to check everything on my phone...
Also, did everyone call for the fingerprint scan? What do they tell u? Because I am out of town I'm scared that it will be like the drug test like THEY decide when we go, and I don't want them to tell me to go on a day when I won't be home yet!! So if someone could help me out I'd appreciate it :)
I haven't called about fingerprints just yet. I was out of town for about a week and half. I had to do fingerprints for a job not too long ago, and we were able to set up an appointment online at our convenience. Warning - the place in Pasadena is SCARY! I think this time I'll go to Humble.
I don't know if anyone else has this problem. My hep-b series won't be complete until mid-October. I was scared I wouldn't be able to start clinicals. My aunt is a nurse in the DFW area, and she spoke to their infectious disease person at her hospital. They said we shouldn't be prevented from starting clinicals as long as we've started the series. That was a huge relief!

I may be interested in buying books, but I usually stay away from used because I'm a little OCD about books. I can't stand writing, highlighting, bent pages...stuff like that.
I'm housesitting right now in The Woodlands, and all my nursing stuff is at home...so I'll have to wait to call about fingerprints.
Also, anyone live near Spring or The Woodlands? I noticed a scrubs store off 45 and was wondering if it is any good... I'm here until Friday, so I think I'll stop by to see what they have at some point.
