TWU Fall 2018 Nursing Applicants

Hey guys, I know it's a little early, however, I decided to start this thread as the application process will be soon upon us.

How are you studying for the TEAS?

We have almost the exact number of points. I am super nervous because I feel like we might be short a couple of points and that really gets to me. Are you going to be applying for the Spring if you do not get in the Fall?

yes, if I don't get in for fall, I will retake my TEAS and apply both here and at UTA for Spring

I thought about applying for the Spring (still considering it), but the way my job is setup I don't think I can work my schedule around classes so I plan on retaking A&P 2 and Stats (this summer) to boost my GPA from 3.7 to 4.0. I honestly don't want to retake the TEAS (87.3). If I can boost my GPA to 4.0 it will give me 51 pts VS the 45 pts that I have now and just re-apply for next fall.

That's exactly what I had to do to apply this time around. Hope it works for both of us!!!

It's finally March! I'm getting nervous because we'll probably figure out who made the traditional programs within these 2-3 weeks. I hope I have a good chance, my counselor helped update my GPA worksheet and I currently have 61.13 points

Oh you should be fine!!! I can't imagine anyone with 60+ points not getting in lol. I hope we find out before spring break so we don't have to wait an extra week.

I just went to the Information Session and they will only accept the Patho taken at TWU.

I'm so excited to be in the weekend/evening program! I know people ask for stats, so I thought I'd list mine:

Total points (w/ TWU bump): 69.2

TEAS: 92

Nursing GPA: 3.72

I can't wait to meet everyone!

Hello!

I applied to TWU Dallas traditional last year and was not accepted. I am applying this year to TWU Houston traditional. I am hoping to get accepted this time around! Here are my stats.

Nursing Core GPA: 3.84

Prereq GPA: 3.81

TEAS Composite: 87.3

Reading: 85.1

Math: 93.8

Science: 87.2

English: 75.0

Admission Score: 45.17

No TWU or prior Bachelor's bumps

What were your stats when you applied to Dallas last year, if you don't mind?
