Hey guys, I know it's a little early, however, I decided to start this thread as the application process will be soon upon us.
How are you studying for the TEAS?
Wishing all the best! :)

Hey ladies. Well i took it last year and got an 83 and did not get admitted. They said the average TEAS score of those who were accepted was an 87 (but I was applying to the weekend/evening program) although i did not get admitted into the regular one either.
I started studying back in August and have been using Khan Academy, Crash Course and other video lectures on YouTube
Hey, are you applying for the evening/weekend program for Fall 2018? That's the program I plan on applying to since I work during the day. I ended up purchasing the Smart Prep from TEAS and have been reviewing the material. I'm still waiting on my Study Manuel to come. I scheduled the TEAS for Dec 2!

Hey everyone! I will be applying also. I currently hold a BA in another field and will have my last prerequisite (A&P II) finished in December. I need to sign up to take the TEAS but I have just been studying my old textbooks and notes and any other study tools I've found around the web thus far.
Good luck everyone!

Hey ladies! First of all, good luck to everyone applying! I will be applying for Fall 2018. Just took my TEAS for the first time this past Friday and scored a composite of 88.7
Reading: 91.5
Math: 93.8
Science: 85.1
English: 79.2
-- happy about that because I didn't feel as though I studied enough. I did buy the study guide book off of amazon to study.
Getting worried because I've been creeping through a lot of these forums from previous application cycles.
I don't have the TWU preference or prior bachelors.
On the excel spreadsheet I'm sitting right at 48 points which I don't feel is enough!

Hey, I don't have TWU preference or degree either. I've been also searching through the forums to see what I can do to be competitive. I plan on scheduling a meeting with the Advisors. Also, your TEAS score is good. Do you know how many points you have or what your nursing GPA is? I'm hoping to get high 80's/90's when I take the TEAS on 12/2. I've been studying for it. I'm so nervous lol. I plan on applying once the semester ends on 12/7 and im applying to the evening/weekend program.
I plan on scheduling something with an advisor as well. My nursing core gpa (if I get A's in stats and lifespan this sesmester) will be a 3.84 I believe.. I just got a B in A&P1, which now I'm regretting not retaking for an A! The TEAS was actually a lot easier than I had thought, I was really worried... like locked my keys, phone, and purse in my car without realizing nervousí ½í¸…

Hey all! I keep reading about the spreadsheet to determine points, but every link I click is dead. Can someone share a new link with me, please?
Yes! I had the same issue then finally found one yesterday! Copy_of_GPA_WS_for_web_11.2
lol....I got a B in A&P 2 (A in A&P 1, lifespan, Micro, and Nutrition), and I'm really not trying to get one in Stats, its a struggle for me, I do good in class, but the word problems on the actual test confuse me sometimes. I'm not really having any issues with chemistry so I should be able to pull an A in that class. I'm really hoping I can pull off this A in Stats, if not I might retake A&P 2 in the winter term to get an A! I'm taking the practice test for the TEAS this wkend to see how I do and what I need to focus on more for studying for it!
Thank you!
