I've decided to go ahead and start this thread for those who are in the process of applying for the HIGHLY COMPETITIVE nursing program at TWU (FALL 2017) Feel free to share your STATS, questions, and good vibes as we're all here to get accepted!
I'm personally interested in the Night/weekend program since I already have a bachelor's degree and I just finished my TWU application (since TWU requires you submit a "new student" application first, then the Nursing application) I am planning on submitting my nursing application right after I hear back..
I also have not yet taken my TEAS, but am in the process of studying for it to take in a couple weeks!
Could you please explain where you were marked with a C? Was it on NursingCAS? Was it in an email from the school?
Hi Divine_17, they also said I was marked with C, I dont understand how A,B or C works in admission. I am experiencing a very nervous period of time now. I applied to Houston.
I'm hoping we know by next week. Kind of upset since it seems I didn't get in to UTH this summer (still waiting for fall). Just a slow, frustrating and torturous process.
Wickedstar, I'm in the same boat. Did you get the email that you have met the criteria yet? I know they go alphabetically, and I am a P. so with Houston being the last of the apps to process... I'm fairly confident we will here by the end of next week!

I can't PM but was the setback something to do with their system/NursingCAS? I know they have my TEAS score, transcripts, & application from NursingCAS. I have yet to get an e-mail about being eligible for admission. I applied to Houston & my last name starts with a C.
My last name starts with K, I did not recieve any e-mails. As I said before, call the nursing department, tell them your last name and they look through the list. You will get an answer right away, by phone.

Can you share which number you called? I have been trying to call for the past few days and I get a busy signal.
Compared to what we went through with UTH it's a lot!
There was a girl who got in with a 3.2 GPA for summer UTH, I wonder how many times she applied. I believe both our GPAs are higher than hers. Anyway, praying that we both get in, good luck!
I saw that, if I recall her HESI was really low too, but she's been a CNA for 4 years.

I'm so nervous about finding out if I got accepted or not... I heard if you have at least 40 points and are a TWU student, chances for Houston look good.
