I've decided to go ahead and start this thread for those who are in the process of applying for the HIGHLY COMPETITIVE nursing program at TWU (FALL 2017) Feel free to share your STATS, questions, and good vibes as we're all here to get accepted!
I'm personally interested in the Night/weekend program since I already have a bachelor's degree and I just finished my TWU application (since TWU requires you submit a "new student" application first, then the Nursing application) I am planning on submitting my nursing application right after I hear back..
I also have not yet taken my TEAS, but am in the process of studying for it to take in a couple weeks!
I live in Houston so I'm applying at that location. Actually both are just as competitive. The only difference is Dallas has applicants that either took all of the pre-reqs at TWU Denton or honor students. Taking your pre-reqs at Twu gives you extra points and being honor student is an automatic acceptance. Typically people in Houston do not have that bc it's offered at the Denton location and you would of had to of taken your classes there.
Late comer to this thread as well. I too am banging my head against the wall. I was sooooo hoping today was the day. I'm soooo nervous. I have 56.7 points and applying for dallas nights and weekends. Hoping that's enough.

We have pretty much the same stats and I'm applying to the same program! My points are 56.73! Hope to see you there!
Likewise... late to the thread and quite bummed didnt hear anything. I applied to weekend and I only have 55.5 pts. If I dont get in the weekend- I was told they'll put me into the application pool for the traditional program...
Chances are at this point, we'll find out by the 24th. If any of y'all receive any types of emails though, please let us know! The wait is definitely killing me. I can tell my parents are doing everything they can to not ask if I have heard anything back yet.
