  1. you need to download the app
  2. Found out some useful information about orientation and registering for classes. We do not get to pick our schedule I was told we are already assigned to classes.... Which is troubling because I need to work.
  3. I am assuming so. there is nothing we can put in there

  5. Does anyone here have the group me app? I can create a group chat for us to keep in contact. All I need is your group me username or email i believe. it is much easier to use than Facebook in my opinion
  6. Any one know what we put for the flu shot if we didn't get one when it was in season
  7. I was denied too. Good luck on the next application process everyone. Branch out to more schools. Including ADN programs better to have it as a back up and start something than keep waiting for who knows how long.
  8. Dont mean to be such a downer but they may just send all the denied letters out at 5. hoping I am wrong.
  9. It doesn't really matter how high your GPA is or your hesi score is, they have no set way of how they select their candidate's for the program, I have 4.0 and 93 on Hesi and previous B.s from U of H and have been denied twice.... They seem to do like a lottery system, luck of the draw. Everyone has the same chance as others as long as you meet requirements. So just cross your fingers and hope the computer system pools your name í ½í±í ¾í´ž
  10. I feel your pain, this is my second time getting denied and I have a 4.0 science GPA and 3.8 OVERALL nursing prerequisite GPA. I also got a 93 overall on the Hesi and have a Bachelors of Science in health professions from the University of Houston. It is complete **** on how they say it is a competitive and they take the top students.... The least they can do is let us know why we got denied...
  11. U T health houston sent out the letters today..... I got denied again. Stats are 93 HESI and 4.0 prerequisite grade....
  12. Thank you for the information looks like I'll need the booster shot.... just great. If y'all got your hep B series as a child the immunity probably went away just like it did on mine.... I recommend getting the booster shot before you get the blood titer.
  13. Does anyone know if we need the blood titers done if we already have the vaccination records? I have all my vaccination records.
  14. It is easy to get done, you might as well do it right now. All you do is go to Identago and get a BON (board of nursing) background check. the sooner you have it complete the faster it comes in. I got mine back in 2 weeks which is very fast.
  15. when are we supposed to find out?
