Hello Everyone,
I have been looking to see if someone would make a forum for us that are applying for the fall 2021 Texas Woman's University nursing program. Since I have not found one I decided to make one. So let's get this forum started! Are you applying to Houston or Dallas? Have you taken your TEAS and if so what was your score? If you have any questions or any information you would like to share please do! I am applying to Dallas and I have yet to take the TEAS.

I'm applying to UTA as well. you apply to the school first, once admitted you will have to do a 2nd application in your my mav portal for the upper division nursing. You have to have the 4 sciences completed (A&P 1, A&P 2, micro, and general chem (not intro). you also have to take some classes specific to UTA.
Feel free to DM me, their deadline is 1/15.
Hey! I saw you're message, but as I am new member on here, I am not considered an "active member" yet and therefore can not respond to any DMs or start any private conversations ?

I tried to DM you but it won't let me for some reason, so I hope you don't mind me asking on here, but did you apply to UTA while still taking classes at TWU? To elaborate, I am still taking classes for the Spring 2021 semester and wanted to begin the application process for UTA as a back up, but seeing as I have to apply to the school first as well as take additional classes specific to UTA, I may have to wait and apply for another semester.
The only class I took at TWU was pathophysiology, I applied for Spring 2021 and did not get in. So now I am taking classes that UTA wants in the Spring. The deadline for UTA is Jan 15 as I stated before I think. If you have the general chem, micro, and both A&P complete you are able to apply. You would just have to complete patho, pharm, intro to nursing before the deadline. The other additional classes they require are a literature class and technical writing.

I spoke to an advisor about it and they said they don’t even look at those. So I chose not to answer them.

I am retaking TEAS on the 6th. And submitting by then. I am scared that my application is not verified by deadline :s. (P.S: nursingcas received my transcripts)z
TWU does not require that you're verified before the deadline. Sam Houston is the only school that does that, and I got verified in a day last time

Thanks! But I check w. an advisor she/he said it should be verified by deadline. Maybe they will make some accommodations? Anyway, your answer make me so relief. ? I hope to get verified in a day too.
Okay, this might sound like a dumb question but when filling out the Transcript Entry part of the application, did you guys actually look at an official transcript or did you just fill it out based on information in like pioneer portal, because on there it has all my courses that I've taken even the ones that I got credit for from high school. I'm not sure whether I should order an official transcript for myself and one for NursingCas. Thank you!
